Begging for Sight
All worlds are aglow with the light of the Friend,
But you, O Beloved One,
you hide in this world
like the soul in a body.
With yearning we wait,
begging for a glimpse of you,
a glimpse of the beauty of your Oneness.
So come, O Friend, tear these veils
from the sunlight of your face.
